Every system that weakens the mind makes one superstitious, make one desires all sorts of wild impossibilities, mysteries, and its effect is dangerous. Such system never bring any good and create morbidity in the mind thus making so weak that in course of time it will be almost impossible to receive truth and live up to it. ‘Laziness, meanness and hypocracy have covered the whole length and breadth of the country. Can an intelligent person look on all this and remain quiet? Does it not bring tears to the eyes? Therefore, I say, first arouse the inherent power within you. Do not weaken. Stand up and be strong.’

‘SAMKALP’ in an endeavour to translate the above teaching of Swami Vivekananda in real life, organizes, every year, a 3 day fully residential ‘Disha Bodh Shivir’ (Social Orientation Camp) on the birth Anniversary of Swamiji.

Disha Bodh Shivir is held every years in January.
